Fragment #43


Where the ferruginous waterway spilt
the algae coloured it vividly
cascaded to the rusty wheel
grinding the foam without pause
from daybreak to daybreak

The breeze catspaws on the lake
the sunrays play with the hills
dragonflies almost too bright
hesitant over the warmed surfaces
seem to reflect time in their wings
